# Project #11286 - statistic solve for p

Purpose of analysis Statistical procedure Statistic Result Probability (p)

I need this information put in the above order. I am attaching the research article along with this.  I do not want to use chi square, I paid for this down below and it is not right.

This article has very few statistical procedures located (there is only one noted in the results). This was a quantitative study.

a. The sample was randomized. 52 physicians were split into two groups to assess hand washing techniques based on the location of an alcohol based hand rub dispenser.
b. alpha was not identified.
c. Only one stat identified: Chi Square

1. Analysis was done to see if there was a statistically significant difference in hand washing between the groups.
2. Data was collected by two different people. One person observing Group 1 and another person observing Group 2.
3. Chi Square is used to compare observed data with the data that is expected based on the null hypothesis. Chi Square formula attached below.
4."There was a statistically significant difference between groups 1 and 2, in which 14 (53.8%) and 3 (11.5%) (p=0.0011), respectively, washed their hands before patient examination." Group 1 14 out of 26 (14/26=53.8%) washed their hands and in group 2, 3 out of 26 washed their hands (3/26=11.5%). these two percentages were compared using Chi Square and p value of 0.0011 was obtained.
5. p = 0.0011
