 Assume that you are the CEO of a famous drug company. Your company has just developed a new antibiotic that prevents all types of influenza. The antibiotic works great but research has found that 10% of patients experience sleeping disorders after taking the drug. You decide to test the drug with sample of 18 patients before you launch the new drug.

a)     Find the probability that no patient experiences sleeping disorders after taking the drug.

b)     Find the probability that at least two patients experience sleeping disorders after taking the drug.

c)     What proportion of patients do you expect to experience sleeping disorders in your sample? With what standard deviation?

d)     Consider a new study with a large random sample (100 patients), should you be concerned if 20 patients experienced sleeping disorders given that the population Standard deviation is 5? What is the probability that less than five patients experience sleeping disorders?
