1.      Researchers at North Texas Health Center developed a new drug which they

think will lower diastolic blood pressure.  A screening advertising a $ 50 payment brought applications from more than 10,000 graduate students.  Using a table of random numbers, the applicants were reduced to 12 test subjects.  The design called for each student to serve as her own control.  The following data representing diastolic blood pressure in mm Hg.
