Project #16170 - chemistry condensed electron configuration

Help with 3homework problem.

1 give full and condensed electron configurations and partial orbital showing valence electrons for potassium (K: Z = 19)

2. molybdenum (Mo: Z = 42)

3. write set of quantum number for the sixth electron and a set for the 23rd electron of the Mn atom.

4 . Using periodic table rank each set of main group element in order of decreasing atomic size

  A. Ca, Mg, Sr ( I think it's Mg, Ca, Sr)

  B K, Ga, Ca   ( I think it's Ga, Ca, K)

C Br, Rb, Kr  (I think it's Kr, Br, Rb?)

Using periodic table only rank elements each of the following sets in decreasing order

A Kr, He, Ar  ( I think it's He, Ar, Kr)

  B. Sb, Te, Sn  ( I thnk it's Te, Sb, Sn)

  C. K, Ca, Rb   ( I think it's Ca, K, Rb)
