Project #18767 - Read Luther’s 95 Theses at the Internet Christian Library

Title- :  Read Luther’s 95 Theses at the Internet Christian Library

Our instructor is very strict on how she wants us to write our essay, before beginning your reading on the web-based primary sources assigned for each essay, I recommend reading why study history through primary sources, adapted from James Harvey Robinson’s “The Historical Point of View, in readings in European History. (Boston: Ginn, 1904). At http://www.fordham.edu/halsall/source/robinson-surces.html. You do not need to worry about the guides or questions listed at the end of this article. I present it to you only to give you an idea of why the study of primary source documents is both interesting and important.  Second step is to formulate a thesis. A good thesis will make a claim about the topic that can be supported by the evidence at hand- in this case, by the document you have been asked to evaluate. It will help you to also formulate an original title for your paper. This will help you focus your thoughts and give you a theme around which to build your essay.  In order to fully support your thesis in just 400-500 words, you must plan your argument very carefully. Outline your argument using clear and specific example. This essay is not research paper so be careful that your essay presents and defends an argument and not not simply list facts that are only tangentially related to the topic.

Citation style I prefer you use the Modern Language Association http://webster.commnet.edu/mla/index.shtml

Make sure to use 12 font

Times New Roman
