See attached for Toulmin Model of Argument. Describe a workplace conflict from your own experience. Reflecting on your experience and keeping in mind the tools acquired in Module Six:

  1. Identify the type(s) of argument you used to make your point.
  2. Use Toulmin’s Model to deconstruct your argument, identifying the Ground, Warrant and Claim, Backing, Qualifier, and Rebuttal (if present in your example).
  3. Report the Conclusion to the argument as you experienced it at the time.
  4. With implementation of the Toulmin Model analysis, report new alternatives to resolution.
