  1. Obtain relevant sample(s) of conflict management policies/practices that you would consider illustrative of “best practices”, for the assigned topic of the 4 Categories of the sample kit using the list provided in attachment.
  2. Complete the Sample Cover Sheet using the provided template in which you will provide an overview of the selected sample and a commentary on why you would consider these samples illustrative of a “best practice”.
  3. Complete steps 1 & 2, including a brief overview and rationale. This will create a substantial collection of samples that the entire class can critique and make use of in the real world.
  4. Each sample will be accompanied by a Sample Cover Sheet. 
  5. 4 Categories for Sample Toolkit

    1. First Level Conflict Resolution Practices: Identify and describe initial strategies managers may implement to resolve workplace conflict.
    2. Arbitration/Resolution: Identify and describe situations that warrant arbitration and mediation.  Describe best practices in arbitration/mediation.
    3. Reaching Agreement: Identify and describe strategies and best practices used to reach agreements in workplace conflict.
    4. Post-Agreement Co-operation: Identify and describe strategies and best practices used to create a product work environment post conflict resolution.
