The questions for your assignment are as follows - you need to choose only one:

 

1. Define evaluation and ROI (Return on Investment) and state why it is necessary to monitor the costs and benefits of any training and development activity. What methods might be used?

 

2. Discuss what is meant by Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and the need to become a Reflective Practitioner. What is the added value for the organisation?

 

3. What is meant by the term induction and why is it vital for organisations to undertake this process? Critically analyse how induction is carried out in Tesco or an organisation that you are familiar with.

 

4. Discuss the benefits and criticisms of adopting a competency framework. Illustrate your answer examples of competency frameworks adopted by Tesco and/or other organisations.

 

5. Define Inventors in People and provide an argument as to why it should be adopted by an organization.
