Project #31316 - Intersectionality Research Paper

I need someone who understands critical race theory within a sociological framework/intersectionality expert! I'm in an Advanced Honors Intersectionality course and I need a 10-12 page research paper DUE MAY 20TH @ 10 PM (yes, that's tomorrow, I'm so sorry). I have free range with whatever direction I want to take the paper in as long as it includes material from our readings or is about the following thesis. Here is the prompt from the class:

Each student will complete a ten to fifteen-â€page research paper on a topic related to the course material. The purpose of this paper is to get you to explore a topic covered in the course in greater detail and/or expand the course material to your own academic or artistic interests. Your paper should demonstrate an engagement with the course material, and your ability to apply and extend the material (i.e. concept, theories, and approaches) in the course. Your papers should be double spaced, use 12-â€point font, and have 1-â€inch margins on all sides. You should use ASA style to format your citations and bibliography.

I have a general idea about what I want to discuss. The idea I have for my thesis right now is: "The United States criminal justice system works as a contemporary system of racial control through targeting black men and the decimation of communities of color."

This is taken from the summary of Michelle Alexander's book "The New Jim Crow." Her book, which I will attach below, provides a wealth of evidence for the thesis. But like I said I"m flexible with the topic. I'm also attaching the reading list for the class so that you can get see the topics we've discussed. You'll see that my current thesis is not on the list but that's only because my professor ok'd that idea a while back. Please help me out! Thank you!

PS- Oh and I feel that the paper should definitely discuss the criminalization of black bodies if it's going to be along the same vein as the thesis I referenced above. Thanks!
