Project #32565 - Darkness @ noon essay

Provide through this thesis statement a discussion of the novel’s theme. (ie. If the novel
is under the theme, Multicultural Voices, first define what this means for you, and then
the experience you had after reading the novel, in relation to the theme.)
The essay should be a discussion of where the reading ‘took you,’ …. what it made you
think about.
The only reference to the novel would be short quotations, or relating to situations very
briefly to show how the novel guided your thoughts. The quotations from the novel
would be like references or quotes you would normally use in a research essay etc. The
novel and quotes are not the focus of your writing. The theme and your thoughts are the
focus.
The goal is to have you share your experience following reading the novel. The
evaluation will be reflective of your ability to write about, and express your thoughts.
Once again, this is not a book report, book review, or character analysis.
