·        Overview

·        Economic theory and analysis are related to the world reality. Throughout this course, you will develop a working knowledge of the principle concepts and theories in microeconomics. You will examine rapid and dynamic change and the economic issues underlying much of the political, social, cultural and military turmoil throughout the world.

·        As a final project, you will be required to write a research paper in the area of microeconomics. The topic is wide open. You may deal with any current business, management or banking issue that is related to microeconomics, as long as you haven't chosen the same topic for any other assignment.

The single most important part of the paper, no matter what topic you choose, is the inclusion of your own viewpoint on the particular topic. It is crucial that you include your own feelings, opinions and recommendations concerning the topic you are discussing. Connecting your paper with the course material is also vital. An excellent paper will include significant evidence of research.
