Despite the wide-ranging use of such tools, there is still a debate on the appropriateness of incorporating pre-selection assessments in the hiring process. Review the articles by Kantrowitz, Dawson, & Fetzer (2011) and Yei-Fang Lin, and Kleiner (2004) in addition to other related readings.
