In Part 2, You will create a document on your computer to answer the IDs, Essay, and Bonus questions. Please name the document Test2.doc and be sure that you save in on your computer before uploading (sending) it to me in the event something does not work correctly. Its a good idea to constantly "Save" the document as you are working so that you do not lose it in the event of a computer crash.
IDENTIFICATIONS - (up to 5 pts. each) As a Word document attachment (or whichever word processing package you are using), briefly (one paragraph each) identify five (5) of the following eight (8) Identifications. Please note that the IDs have a value of up to 25 points towards your grade.

d) Martin Luther King
f) Operation Desert Storm
h) Kenneth Starr
ESSAY - (up to 25 pts.) Using the same Word document (or whichever word processing package you are using), answer only oneof the the following essay questions. Your essay should be at least one to two pages in length.
A) In detail, describe and analyze the Vietnam War. How and why did the United States become involved? Identify any changes in foreign policy that may have played a role. Which president was most responsible for turning this into one of the longest and costliest conflicts in American History? What were some of the events/developments that turned the American public against it? Finally, how did the Vietnam War end for the United States? What was its outcome?
B) In detail, compare and contrast the rationales and objectives for the American led invasion of Iraq in 1991 under President George H.W. Bush and the American led invasion of Iraq in 2003 under President George W. Bush. Be sure to provide specific examples how they may have been similar or different as well as some of the leading personalities involved. Based on the current situation in Iraq, was either or both of these conflicts a success or failures?
BONUS: (up to 5 pts.) Using the same Word document attachment (or whichever word processing package you are using), answer the following bonus question. Briefly explain the root cause or causes of the Watergate scandal? Who was responsible and why did it expand into a national crisis? Be sure to mention some of the leading personalities involved. Please note that the Bonus will have a value of up to 5 points towards your grade.
