So far, you have focused primarily on the Strategic Business Partner model and how it can improve business success. However, there are a variety of different business partnering models, each with unique applications and uses for different situations. By understanding the relative advantages and drawbacks of these different models, you can select the model that is most appropriate for your business and HR department. In this Assignment, you compare the strengths and weakness of various HR business partnering models.

For this Assignment, research and compare three commonly used models of business partnering. The models include:

·         HR Business Competency Model

·         Human Resource Business Partners Model

·         Strategic Business Partner

You will first briefly introduce the models. Then create a table (using Microsoft Word) containing a brief description of each model and the strengths and weaknesses of each. Finally, comment on the following:

·         For each of the models above:

o    Assess how it could be adapted for use by a small to midsize company and explain why it would be a good fit.

o    What would be the greatest challenges of adapting the selected model to a smaller organization?
