Man's Facebook Post Gets Him Fired

Social media is an important communication method in the workplace which can be used for positive or negative reasons.  Do you beleive that the use of social media can enhance working conditions?  What do you think is an employers right/responsability to moinitor employee use of social media and respond to concerns/issues addressed through that medium? What, if any, implications do you beleive that social media has had/is having on union organizing and/or impact?
