Project #42979 - A walk to beautiful

                                                        Mid-term Essay

Analytical Essay: 1,000 wds.

This will be an analytical paper. That means that you are not being asked to provide your personal/emotional reactions. You are being asked to analyze the situation(s) based on the facts presented in the various texts and are expected to draw conclusions from those facts (ie use your rational faculties). In addition this is meant to give you the opportunity to synthesize the situation by bringing together what you have learned in multiple texts.

1. First start by providing  the basic facts of the narrative: time, place, characters, etc. of I Am Nujood.

2.  Then consider the major factors involved in the situation presented and make connections to “A Walk to Beautiful” and previous video-documentaries that we have viewed and texts we have read.

(Keep in mind and take into consideration that they have covered many different geographical areas.)

 3. What parallels and commonalities do you see?

4. What differences do you discern?

5. Can you speculate on how to solve or at least ameliorate some of these problems?

Notes:

1.        Refer to your Writing Checklist  for a reminder of the crucial elements that contribute to an effective essay and that  determine your grade.
