Project #44235 - short paper

Your answer should consist of the following:

* A title page with your name, student identification number, name and number of the course, date, and question number.

* The first paragraph of the essay should introduce the topic and state the student's answer to the question. It should contain between 3 and 5 complete sentences, including the opening statement for the essay.

* The second, third, and fourth paragraphs are the body paragraphs. Each body paragraph should contain between 3 and 5 sentences, including the topic sentence (first sentence of the body paragraph states a main point that supports the thesis) and at least 2 to 3 specific examples per main point.

* The fifth and final paragraph should begin with a restatement of the main points of the essay. It should be 3 to 5 complete sentences and include a brief summary/conclusion of the student's answer to the essay question.

It is essential, particularly in the survey courses, for students to provide citations and footnotes or endnotes for their work in untimed exams. Citations must adhere to the Chicago Style format but perfection is not expected.

Examples of common citations are included on pages 4 and 5 of this edition.

Use the course readings as sources, and cite them in footnotes or endnotes. Other sources are permitted but make sure they too are properly referenced.

In crafting your answer, be sure to abide by the guidelines in the Standards for Evaluating Written Work in the Resources section of the course site.
