Will only PAY 10.00

Reflect on the struggles of the civil rights movement in the 1960s after watching "A Class Apart" and the "Murder of Emmett Till".  Think about how things were before and how things are now.  Talk about whether or not you think that the promise of the civil rights movements have been fulfilled.  Also answer these questions:

  1. Of all the laws and injustices during the segregation era, what rule/law/tradition do you find to be the most disturbing?
  2. Has the US really faced the legacy of segregation and what does this legacy mean for the US today?
  3. How does having an African-American president fit into the civil rights movement?
