Project #48182 - Epidemiology

The following two topics are answered seperately, and each must be at least 450 words. The papers will be submitted to TURN IT IN to check for its originality. I would like the writer to write on "the impacts of childhood vaccination exemptions on Pertussis outbreak in the United States, for the question two.

1) Locate a scholarly article, and discuss the concept of gene-environment interactions.

2) Some states have 'philosophical' exemptions for childhood vaccinations: http://www.vaccinesafety.edu/cc-exem.htm
Discuss the problems introduced by such exemptions and how anti-vaccine movements might contribute to outbreaks of vaccine-preventable childhood illness (such as measles or pertussis / whooping cough).  Incorporate epidemiological concepts you've learned thus far including communicability, modes of transmission, herd immunity, etc.
