Project #48624 - brief reflection

Choose ONE of the quotations and write a brief reflection on it,
  • Explaining the quotation to an “ideal reader”–one as intelligent as you are, but not familiar with the quotation or its source.
  • Giving your judgment on whether the ideas in the quote are valid or invalid today, and
  • Briefly explaining why you think so, including what we might do, if anything, to make things better.
  • DO NOT CONSIDER THE WHOLE ESSAY–JUST THE IDEAS IN THE QUOTE ITSELF.
  • DO NOT TAKE THE LENGTH OF THE QUOTATION AS YOUR PRIMARY REASON FOR CHOOSING IT.  SOME OF THE SHORTER QUOTATIONS ARE MORE COMPLEX THAN SOME OF THE LONGER QUOTATIONS.
  • DO let your interest and ideas be your guide in choosing.  The more you are involved with the ideas, the better your essay will be.
