I needed a detailed outline for my dissertation. I will attach a document of wha the dissertation needs to have but the outline can have similar things. I also have articles that the professor gave me which i will also attach

Guidelines for Library-Based Dissertations Key stages in a Library-Based Study 1. Identify a research topic. → How different forms of perfectionism predict attitudes to success and failure 2. Formulate a research question. As with all dissertations, you must have a
clear question for which you wish to formulate answers.
 3. Clearly identify, discuss and clarify the key concepts being investigated. To do this, you will need to read around the topic, advised initially by your supervisor.
 4. Formulate a research proposal.
 5. Conduct a systematic search of the literature using defined criteria as to which publications will be included in the review, and which will be excluded from consideration.
 6. Undertake a detailed, critical review of the evidence available. This will include: • Constructing sets of criteria against which to judge the materials reviewed
(discussed with your supervisor)
 • a detailed, critical literature review of the relevant books, journal articles and any other relevant literature.
 7. Sum up. This may be an overall analysis of results from empirical research studies or some other analysis of the total evidence available.
 8. Discuss how the literature survey answers the questions that you are exploring. Weigh up the pros and cons. Identify gaps, weaknesses, problems or biases in the existing literature.
 9. Draw out implications for your conclusions and make recommendations for further research studies. Title If your dissertation is lodged in the library, your title will be used by future researchers to decide whether to read it. So make the title informative, but not too long, e.g. 15 words or fewer. A sample of the Title Page is shown on page 41. The Abstract This synopsis should be no more than 300 words, sets out the problem investigated, how it was investigated, the major findings and conclusions. Chapter 1: Introduction This is like an extended synopsis and it will orientate the reader to what are you investigating, from what theoretical angle are you investigating it, and how you are investigating it. It is here that you should clearly set out the aims of your study (i.e., your research question), the rationale for undertaking it and methodology (e.g., set of criteria for evaluating evidence). The methodology section in this chapter should clearly describe the search criteria, how the search was conducted, the number of publications of different types identified by this, and how many ended up being included in the set for review. The set of criteria used to evaluate the evidence should also be outlined in this section. Chapter 2: Literature Review I A library-based dissertation is like a series of literature reviews in which each investigates an aspect of the substantive issue you have chosen. You need to identify two or three aspects of your chosen topic, which can be dealt with in this way. Each chapter should clarify your position and enhance your understanding on the basis of other people's writing. It should focus clearly upon the selected aspect of your topic. Each should be critical, analytical and evaluative, rather than a merely descriptive account of what has been published. Chapter 3: Literature Review II (See Chapter 2 above but note that each of these chapters should have a title which clearly conveys the nature of the aspect of your topic with which each deals.) Chapter 4: Literature Review III (The number of these separate chapters will depend upon the topic which you have chosen and how you have decided to treat it.) Chapter 5: Conclusions and recommendations for future research References
