Project #49418 - Online Marketing

To make a powerpoint and in every powerpoint to give me what to say so I can make a vodcast and submit it as an online presentation.  (narrated powerpoint slides.)
 I was thinking of doing it on online marketing. (for ex. Google AdWords, Email Marketing, Through different social networks: Facebook, Twitter, etc.)  Also my presentation has to be atleast 3 minutes. Could be as much as 6 slides as long as it's 3 min. long.

 

New Venture Marketing Concept Presentation
For this individual project assignment, you will create a 3-5 minute video snippet for one of the marketing concepts discussed in this class. Your individual project grade will be based on whether the concept is explained properly, the quality of the submitted file, and the apparent effort put into this assignment.Specifically, I would like you to do the following:
1.) Think through all of the marketing concepts you have learned in this class.
 
2.) Pick one of those marketing concepts (e.g., idea generation) or a group of related marketing concepts (e.g., idea generation and opportunity identification) for your 3-5 minute video snippet. • A good choice might be a concept that you liked very much, that you find difficult to understand, or that you think you can explain better or easier than the explanations provided to you in the readings,
slides, video narrations etc.
 
3.) Think about how you want to explain the selected concept and what format you want to use. You have total flexibility in terms of what format you want to use. However, I suggest that you chose one of the following two formats:
a) Narrated Power Point slides (e.g., see the video narrations provided to you).
 
 4.) Write a script outlining what and how you will say things and explain the concept. NOTE that you will have to use a different explanation than is provided in the hand-outs etc. It is best to use your own words when explaining a concept. You do NOT have to submit this narration, it is just for your own guidance.• If you use the format outlined in 3a, you will also have to put together a Power Point, Keynote,

Prezi, etc. presentation that goes with your script. • If you use the format outlined in 3b, I suggest that you also outline the place, scene, type of people, etc. that you want to film and make part of your presentation. • If you chose any combination of 3a and 3b, I suggest that you do both of the previous preparations.Note that your presentation/video should not exceed 5 minutes!5.) Tape your presentation, film, or both. For the narrated power point slides, you can use such software as iMovie, Garageband, Camtasia etcYou can also use the recording function in PowerPoint (go to “Slide Show” à “Record Slide Show”). For the videos, I suggest that you use an HD video (every digital camera comes with the HD format; use your smartphone camera; cameras can also be borrowed from University Technology).Note that your presentation/video should not exceed 5 minutes!

 

6.) Save your output as an mp4 file and submit that file by the deadline. During your submission process, please indicate whether or not you are ok if I share your presentation/video snippet with future students.
