Project #49429 - Forensic Expert Witness Assignment

Assume that a forensic expert is called to testify to the time of death of a victim, the time when resuscitation was viable, that injuries were consistent with gagging, and that the gagging was done to keep the victim from calling for help.  What, if any, part of this testimonyseems the least scientifically based?  Should the expert be permitted to testify on that part?  See Scheiber v. City of Philadelphia, 2000 WL 167088 (E.D. Pa. 2000).  You may also google the case name or look it up on findlaw.com.Assume that a forensic expert is called to testify to the time of death of a victim, the time when resuscitation was viable, that injuries were consistent with gagging, and that the gagging was done to keep the victim from calling for help.  What, if any, part of this testimonyseems the least scientifically based?  Should the expert be permitted to testify on that part?  See Scheiber v.
