PART 1

Q1

Use the even and odd notation to state in symbolic logic that "the product of two odd number s x and yis odd." (You don't have to prove it).

Q2

Prove that for all integers m and n, if m is odd and n is even, then mn is even.

Q3

Prove that for all rational numbers x and y, xy is rational.
