Thor has run into systematic and structural challenges trying to adapt to his new environment while experiences a type of status reversal in his role as hero. Explore how he finds incentives to change. Explain using concepts that explore bad leader types from class readings to justify your response.

  • Thor’s loss of his hammer, Mjölnir, is symbolic. What does this represent? What does his re-acquisition of it represent and how does it relate to his power as a leader? Defend your response using concepts related to power types and abuses of power from class readings.
