What are the major differences between the management approaches of commitment to the workforce versus viewing labor as cheap and replaceable? In an industry where even at entry level employees may be asked to work unsociable hours, readily experience emotional labor and over-perform to satisfy guest needs, what place does the concept of the psychological contract play for employees in the organization?
