I completely agree with your responses above. Any automated machine that has that amount of power and strength should have had an E-stop. In addition, more trust should have been put in other computer scientists at the company to review/work on the code and maybe that mistake would have been caught. The error should never have been pinpointed on one individual.  By oppressing everyone’s opinion about the design, mistakes will be free to slip through the cracks. In an article titled “Case of the Killer Robot” written by Duke University it was stated that “His inability to work with other people and belligerent attitude towards anyone who dare perceive him as error prone, masked his true motivations”, referring to Randy Samuels.
