Project #61181 - sustainability

According to Richard Wright, sustainability does not mean the same thing to everyone. In fact, it depends on your personal values, your occupation, where you live and likely much more. He mentions that economists, sociologists and ecologists will likely view sustainability differently.

  • Based on the premise above, write your own personal definition of sustainability, making sure you support your position with references.
  • Be honest and think about this before you write it. Do you tend to think first about human need? Do you view life from a practical side and realize that no matter how wonderful it sounds, someone has to look after the “bottom line?”
  • Or do you think that if we take care of nature, nature will take care of us?
  • Needs to be at least 150-200 words.
