Project #64004 - revision

on your first point--it may be unwise to cite the Bible as an example of what traditional marriage has or has not been--men in the Bible often had multiple wives and sired children (Abraham for one) by other women to whom they were not married--and the Bible is a Christian holy book so it probably should not used as the holy book for all people.  You can certainly argue that traditional marriage is something determined over time by accepted cultural institutions including government and society, etc.  but the Bible is not a wise counterpoint.

Your second counterpoint is highly inflammatory.  It does not follow that same sex marriage leads to incest or bestiality--You could argue that marriage does not make or deny people categories of citizens since gay individuals are still privy to other rights, just not marriage (I don't think that's a good counterpoint but at least it does not accuse gays of being one step away from bestiality).

Your last point is simply not true--same sex couples adopt or have other means (surrogate births) ways to raise children; these same practices of adoption/surrogate are also practiced by heterosexual couples and no one faults them.  Many heterosexual couples CHOOSE not to procreate or cannot--should their marriages be declared unsuitable or unnatural?

PLEASE rethink your topic and the rebuttal points before you draft your argument.  Many people support or oppose same sex marriage on grounds that can be argued less antagonistically.
