Project #64129 - DesCartes Paper

Write a  paper  of five pages or more in length  on DesCartes' Meditations. Utilize the First, Second  and Third Meditations.

Address these considerations:

1) What was DesCartes' primary objective? What was he trying to discover?

2) How does he employ doubt as a tool of discovery?

3) What does he doubt as he deconstructs his `edifice of knowledge'?  Why? Explain in detail.

4) What does he find that is beyond all doubt? What is his foundation of knowledge? Explain.

5) How does he rebuild the `edifice of knowledge'? Explain.

Show evidence that you are utilizing the reading. Include a complete bibliography. Explain all terms. Do not assume that the reader is familiar with any of this material.
