The topic you choose should match the interests of your audience that works in your desired career or industry.  You will first create an article in a word document (Which can later be copy and pasted into LinkedIn Pulse).  Please submit your LinkedIn Pulse article to  

What your Article Should Include

  • Blog post should be between 800-1600 words. Length will depend on your topic.  Make sure to include enough information to grab the attention of your audience.
  • Use Bullets: Think Top 3 to 4 points or tips
  • Use relevant and interesting images. There’s a reason why LinkedIn suggests a strong header image.
  • Titling is important to drive interest from readers (No more than 6 Words in the Title). It should also be descriptive and match back to keywords that will signal to the algorithm which audiences will prefer the post.
  • Offer a few (1-2) strong links to other articles to give readers additional insights and depth.
  • Tag your posts. Make sure to include what your 3 tags will be.  

·       To add tags:

o   Scroll to the bottom of your post.

o   Click the Tag icon next to Add tags like consulting, sales, marketing…

o   Click into the text box and begin typing.
