1)Explain the success of pepsico's diversification strategy since 1997 when they sold off the restaurants. Using a nine cell portfolio matrix businesses ( cf. chapter 8: Diversification Strategies for Managing a Group of Businesses), draw on data in the case to classify the three of the most successful products in each of pepsico's divisions; Frito-Lay brands, Pepsico Beverage Brands, and Quaker Oats Brands.
