Hi,

I need help finding the critical points of five different functions, each one on a different interval. The critical points should also be classified in local or global minimum or maximum, or not an extremum. Thank you.

1. f(x) = sin(x) + cos(x) on [-2pi, 2pi]

2. f(x) = sin^4(x) - cos^4(x) on [0,5]

3. f(x) = e^-x^2 +6x+9 on R This one reads e to the power: negative x squared plus six x plus nine (the power is a polynomial). The interval is all real numbers.

4. f(x) = x^4 + 12x^3 +36x^2 - 24 on [-4,4]

5. f(x) = ln(x) - x^2 on [1/2, 2]
