Assignment Objectives:

  • Understand the seven key facilitation concepts and techniques
  • Define personal space and its uses

 

Purpose: Students will gain an understanding of the seven key facilitation techniques that can be used within a project to ensure it has a higher degree of success.

 

Assignment Description: Roger Corporation recently evaluated its project management process and found that several of its key methodology steps were causing project managers to spend inordinate amounts of time on areas that are not value add activities to the company.

 

They have decided that as part of this evaluation that they will undergo a major change to the methodology to avoid and prevent loss of effort on non-value add efforts going forward. Their hope is that through this change that they will be able to increase their productivity and overall success.

 

Roger Corporation has hired you after recently hearing about the use of the seven key facilitation techniques through a paper you wrote on this subject. They would like you to create an action plan using these seven techniques as to how you would better structure and ensure that project teams spend their time on activities that will move the project forward and that are value add to the organization.

 

Parameters: Each action plan should be 2-3 pages in length, follow standard APA 6th edition formatting and structure guidelines, and use at least one citation outside of the course texts within the detail of the paper.
