Project #75692 - IT-200 Final Project Revision (Was Missing Some Key Components)

I received a 43 out of 305 on my final project assignment which needless to say has failed me for this class :( The instructor was nice enough to allow me to submit a revision one more time with a 10% penalty. I have included all the needed files in the zip such as Milestone 1, Milestone 2, and Milestone 3 as well as the original final project. I have also included screen shots of the grading rubric as to what was missing and the guidelines. PLEASE look at the screenshots as to what was missing and include in revision.

FINAL PROJECT: The Carnegie Cyber Academy Library site provides an index of definitions and additional resources for IT tools and technologies.

Building on the work that you prepared for Milestones One through Three (I have included my previous milestone projects to use a as reference when writing final paper); submit a document that builds upon the previously completed milestone summaries to provide an overall summary of the Swagger distribution company IT system as a whole. This should illustrate how each individual system component (network, database, web technology, computers, programming, and security systems) interrelates with the others and summarize the importance of IT technologies for the overall system.

Requirements of Submission:Written components of projects must follow these formatting guidelines when applicable: double spacing,12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins. The paper should be one to two pages in length, not including cover page and resources, and written in paragraph form.

Overview of previous Milestones

Milestone One Overview:

Using the Final Project Scenario provided, prepare a brief summary of the HCI (human computer interface), IMD (information management database), and programming components of the distribution company, using appropriate IT terminology. Submit this as a Word document with supporting screenshots embedded in the document.

Milestone Two Overview:
Review the following resources before completing this task:

      URL

      Registering a Domain Name

      Caching Tutorial

HTTP Cookies Explained The origins, meaning, and use of cookies

HTML4 and HTML5 Tutorial For the basics of HTML and CSS (Writing in HTML is not required in this course; however, try some of the examples in the tutorial.)

Then, using the Final Project Scenario provided, prepare a brief descriptive summary of the networking configuration of the wired visual configuration from the diagram provided and use this to create and describe a Visio diagram to represent a wireless networking configuration appropriate for the company. Describe all aspects of the network using IT terminology. For the web consult, summarize at least 10 of the key components of a potential website, provide and justify practical suggestions to improve the quality of the website, and identify a current website that models the two suggestions. Submit both summaries in one Word document with supporting screenshots embedded in the document.

Milestone Three Overview:

Provide several recommended information security practices for the distribution company. Provide a real-world example of an information security assurance failure to illustrate the importance of these practices. Submit this as a Word document, with embedded supporting screenshots, if appropriate.
