You could choose to address the following questions in your post: How does management solve problems in the organization where you work? Are problems solved by use of guesswork? By application of undeveloped theories based primarily on "one-size-fits-all recommendations"? Or, does managment seek out, and apply, good theory? How does this manner of problem-solving impact the organization's performance? How does it impact employees?
Likewise, the article states that many researchers don't study failure. In the organization where you work, how is failure handled? Is it a source of shame and embarassment or an opportunity to learn and grow? How does management's attitue toward failure impact employee behavior?
