Project #7983 - Compare/Contrast Essay

I need a rough draft separately from the actual Essay.

The actual Essay needs to be 3 full pages long, doubled spaced.

You can compare and contrast about anything you would like to.

Write a three-page essay using one of the template patterns below. Pick any two subjects (or three) to compare you would like.

You will be comparing and/or contrasting two or more things for your audience. You may not use "you" or "your" in your essay. It must be in third person.   He/she or they/them are okay.   Nouns are preferable.

Try to get away from using "this" or "that" as a subject for your sentences. Try to avoid "I" -- it is not needed most times.

Your paper must have an introduction paragraph, a closing paragraph or conclusion and a body in which you tell us about the difference or similarities between two or more things or people.

Try to pick a topic that is surprising. Don't, for example, tell us the differences between boys and girls-that has been done to death. But it might be interesting to tell us how they are exactly the same about ice cream.

Don't contrast hotdogs and hamburgers; we are aware they are different. But we might be interested in how taking care of a goldfish and taking care of a horse are very much alike for a child, depending on his or her age.

You could compare three restaurants buffets. You could compare Bengal arrests this year versus last year. You could compare a certain brand of yogurt to another brand. You could contrast the last Indiana Jones movie to the first one. You could contrast Gray's Anatomy and its spin-off show. You could compare the dancers on "Dancing with the Stars." Or perhaps Reds outfielders.... Anything!

Be sure to either use "All of A/All of B" as your template, or " Point 1 A/B; Point 2 A/B." Don't mix them.
