DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE TEXT BOOK.

Question 1

1.    On pages 252, 253, 254-255 in the textbook, there are stories of sacrifice, bondage and exodus, and survival in the wilderness. These stories are an integral part of the Jewish tradition. Find a movie, book, or short story that is similar to one of these three Jewish stories. Compare and contrast the plots of the stories and the significance for the intended audiences. What sorts of assumptions or biases might audiences who are not the target audiences draw from these stories (perhaps if they don’t identify with the main characters of the stories)?

Your response should be at least 300 words in length. You are required to use at least your textbook as source material for your response. All sources used, including the textbook, must be referenced; paraphrased and quoted material must have accompanying citations.
