Project #81535 - Writing a body paragraph with a citation and references.

Part 1: The thesis is the most important sentence of your paper, upon which all else in the paper depends. You must make your thesis so it is the backbone or framework of the paper. You need to know what a thesis is to create one based on the assignment. Use this method of answering these questions in sentence form whenever you have to create a thesis. You cannot begin to do a paper unless you have a good thesis. The thesis is the skeletal system of your paper. A thesis is one statement found at the end of your introduction. It names the topic of your paper, tells your stance, suggests what you will prove in the paper and may suggest course of action that produces desired results. What is the assignment? Read the assignment You would answer these questions. by writing out the answers in sentence form. What is the topic? What is your opinion? What will you discuss or prove? What may the course of action be? What are the results? What are suggested topics to discuss to show this? Once you answer these questions, you can create a thesis such as the ones I created below and put in the sample.Use this form of questions or create your own thesis for your own papers. ASSIGNMENT TO DO AND TURN IN FOR POINTS. Here is a topic for a paper. The most important qualities of friendship. Here is the topic put into a thesis that you will finish. . The most important qualities of friendship are........[name the three that you decide on. E.g. loyalty, honesty, availability]. Your assignment is to come up with three qualities of friendship and choose one of these and do a body paragraph about it to turn in for points. 1.At the top of your paper, put your name and put the thesis you created using what is above but coming up with your own qualities. You may also use the ones I have written. 2.Do a body paragraph for points: 1. Have a topic sentence, e.g. One quality of friendship is kindness. 3. Have 6-8 support sentences telling facts, reasons, examples, details or any of these about the topic. 4.Find something from a reference to reword and put in the paragraph as support. Cite it. [NO QUOTES ARE ALLOWED] You may summarize or paraphrase the material. 5.End with a wrap up sentence naming the same one topic named in the topic sentence. Part 2: Read this attachment over to help you learn how to do references and citations. Avoid the reference generator until you use the formula to put your references into the correct format by yourself. Then, try the generator. Send what you did yourself along with what the generator came up with at the end of your paper.
