Project #82284 - Theo-phil homework

Please read the attatched article and answer the questions in a philisophical religious way and thoughtfully. It is for my religion class (christianity). Please answer in 2-3 pages

Please give particular attention to the 'sources of solace' that the novel describes. Why do these things--epecially but not exclusively art--provide solace and comfort? What kind of solace do they provide? That is, what difference do these things make in the lives of the characters?

What movement if any do you sense in the lives of the characters? Does anything shift for them in terms of their perceptions of themselves, other human beings, the world? What shifts do you notice and what meaning do you attach to these shifts.
