Cultural Diversity Maturity Assessment (4-5 pages

 

Description: The purpose of this assignment is assess your cultural diversity maturity level both prior to the course and after the course using the “Pre-Assessment and Post – Test found in the Building a House for Diversity text.  You will also make recommendations for the future using insight from all elements of the course.

 

  • How your cultural diversity maturity as defined by Building a House for Diversity has (or has not) changed throughout the course, and how it may be different from your anticipations.

  • How your perceptions of diversity in general may or may not have changed

 

Also provide at least five citations from course readings and/or outside sources to support your observations. As such, this will be a chance to incorporate scholarly material on diversity with your own course reflections and assessments.

 

Grading Rubric:                                          

 

Cultural Diversity Maturity Assessment: The paper is graded on 6 factors, weighted as follows:

Introduction/background: degree to which the paper introduces the purpose of the paper

Summary: degree to which the paper summarizes relevant findings of your pre- and post-course assessments

Reflection: degree to which the paper reflects upon and analyzes results of your assessments

Diversity reflections: degree to which the report reflects on diversity in general using assessments results, sources, and other course material and activities

Sources: degree to which the paper uses five citations from course readings and / or outside sources to elaborate on analysis and uses correct APA formatting

General writing/professionalism: degree to which the material is well organized and well-written using grammar, APA, and writing mechanics
