I like what you are saying here.  Solomon gave what nobody had ever given so in turn, he received what no one had ever been given.  This makes a lot of sense and makes me wonder, how can I give to God what no one has ever given Him? Not so I may be blessed, but because He deserves so much more!  With each act of service and love to Him and others, I believe we are giving to Him.  With a world full of so much need all around us, it is easy to ignore it and not feel like we can make a difference.  That is the difference between people who understand our call to be ministers and people who get angry or lash out with hateful statements about those in need.  You are making a difference through each prayer, each act of obedience, each act of giving, blessing, and fasting on behalf of others so their souls may be saved.  You are an example of what it means to minister to those around you, thank you for being obedient to the call.  In reading this, I felt like I was shown that ministers see the need, feel the burden, and act according to what they can do about it.  Whether that be prayer, giving, time, etc.  Those who get angry about the needs around us and don't do anything, are really just angry I think because they can't fix it.  Or angry that the people in the situations just don't "fix" it.  Even angry because they don't feel like anything they do will ever be enough or make a difference.  I don't think they understand fully what we are supposed to be doing with the mess all around us so it scares them and makes them angry.  I will be looking at these people differently from now on and will add them to my prayers.  The devil creates confusion and chaos all around us, if we all agreed that something needed done and we all did something to help those who are hurting or lost, it would make a very visible impact in our world.  So, we as ministers, have to believe that each small act on behalf of the needs all around us, will work together for the greater good and for the Kingdom of God.
