1st :

In a company, if I was a supervisor of five employees who range in age from five years younger to fifteen years older than me, I will try to find the way to listen to the idea of each employees. Because they have different age, so they may have different point of view based on their age. Besides of that, older employee who work in company for such a long time should have more experience than young employee. As supervisor, I need be patient and listen to the idea of those five employees. Moreover, I need to play an employee role to harmony and coordinate with my employees. After that, I will go through idea of each employees. Which ideas are good, I will say to them that we can use this idea for our project. For the idea that I think is not a good idea, I will say like it may be a good idea. However, we need to work a bit more to adjust this idea to make it fit into our project. As a result, I need to open my mind and listen to all ideas. Sometimes, I should need to give out some awards such as small gifts to motivate and encourage for their hard work. Because if I listen and take idea of one person that I think it fit with me and ignore to the idea of other employees, it could be call discrimination and lead to the conflict between me and other employees who I ignored and did not use their ideas.

If I need to manage five employees who range in age from give years younger to fifteen years older than me, also based on the video, the first significant aspect for me is building a healthy, stable and harmonious relationships with my employees because “ internal relationships affect external relationships.” Besides, like the expert mentioned in the video, it is really indispensable to practice personal leadership with everyone in workplace. Moreover, building a good internal relationship with my employees will directly helpful with building the external one. Then I will take into consideration of their age’s aspects. I have some friends who are older than me, and some of them already had grandchild. Most of them clearly stated that they really like to be friends and work with younger people because many of them are passionate and positive toward to life. Similarity, many of my friends who are the similar age as me also like to be a group with older people because they can get some useful work or life suggestions from older people. Therefore, I will observe my employees for a while and use SWOT analysis per each one in order to match them in a suitable group. Along with the good development with the work relationships between my employees and me, I am also planning to develop more good and healthy personal relationships. All in all, building a nice and stable work relationship comes first. Maybe it is not a bad idea to develop personal relationships at the meantime, but it also depends on how the work relationships are going first.
