Project #92618 - Employment Application Packet Review

I attached my cover letter and resume. Also I attached two of my group members resume. Please use my resume to do this assignment. You can change my cover letter and resume to meet the requirements.  

Instructions:

1) You need to find a REAL job opening for which you are qualified now or will be immediately after you graduate (there are bunches of online job search websites, or you can find one listed locally in your newspaper, campus or state employment office, etc.).

2) Copy and paste or type the job requirements into a Word document.

3) Now that you know some ways in which employers might evaluate your application materials, write a resume and cover letter and paste them into the same MS Word document as the job requirements. 

4) Choose one of your group members' resume/cover letter packets to review, then write a 500-700 word memo to me, Dr. Clark (as if I were the hiring manager) explaining why you would or would not hire this person for this particular position.

WARNING: DO NOT SIMPLY UPLOAD A PREVIOUSLY WRITTEN RESUMEWRITE A NEW ONE AND AN ACCOMPANYING COVER LETTER BASED ON WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNED FROM OUR COURSE MATERIALS.

NOTE: Do not submit your own resume or cover letter to the assignment folder; you will be graded solely on the quality of your evaluation memo, which is a typical writing task required of managers and supervisors in the workplace.
