Project #94373 - Why Chinese people are so different from American people

This is a comparative paper project. I need a paper that talls about the differences between Chinese people and American people, and the reason why they are so different through culture, education, society and so on. This paper needs at least 1500 wrods, and it must be cited, include some footnotes and using Chicago Manual of Style to cite the sources. Here's the WRITING POLICY:

An essay is an analytical piece of writing that requires students to present an argument and evidence to support it.  Simply repeating lecture notes is not adequate.  Further, the essay allows students to demonstrate their understanding of the assigned readings and relate them to lectures and other materials covered in class.

There are three basic elements to an essay: the introduction, the body, and the conclusion.

 * The most important element is the thesis statement, which is contained in the introduction.  The thesis statement succinctly states the overall argument of the essay.

*The introduction must also contain other pertinent information in support of the thesis.

*The body of an essay discusses the various elements addressed in the introduction in descending order of importance.  Each point must be treated in a separate paragraph.

*The conclusion restates the argument and sums up the supporting evidence.  Essays must contain these basic components.

 Characteristics of an “A” essay:

The essay has a clear, logical thesis.  The argument is succinct and appropriate examples from lectures and readings are used.  Analysis clearly demonstrates that the student understands the material and can relate it to American history and culture.  The essay is free of major grammatical and spelling errors.  There are no major factual errors.

 Characteristics of a “B” essay:

The thesis statement is less succinct, but still well written.  Material is presented quite well, but perhaps too few examples are used, or they do not clearly illustrate the desired point.  It is clear that the student has a firm grasp of the material, but the argument is less precise.  Conclusion is a clear summation of the evidence, but the analysis is less insightful.  Major grammatical and spelling errors are rare, and the essay contains no major factual errors.

Characteristics of a “C” essay:

The thesis statement is indecisive.  Material is generally presented in a clear and logical fashion, but analysis is weak.  Few examples are used, or they are inappropriate.  There is too little evidence that the textbook or other readings have been integrated into the essay.  Conclusion is clear.  Grammatical or spelling mistakes are present and perhaps factual errors as well.
